The Lords Library provides research, analysis, and a range of print and online resources to support Members of the House of Lords and the work of the House. Resource guides are available to help Members and staff use resources effectively, and the Library provides training and support.

Research briefings - browse by topic, from ‘Brexit and the EU’ to ‘World affairs’. We produce in-depth analysis on legislation, debates and topical issues.

Data dashboards - explore interactive data visualisations about the House of Lords, including data on current membership, largest votes and government defeats, and regional representation.

Hereditary peers in the House of Lords - browse research and statistics on government proposals for hereditary peers, and follow the progress of the House of Lords (Hereditary Peers) Bill.
